  • Annoucements of disruptions of public transport and other passenger information are usually broadcasted over loudspeakers
  • Deaf people do not have access to loudspeaker announcements
  • Showing textual information is also not a sufficient solution: written language is difficult to learn for deaf persons, 70-80% are functionally illiterate
  • Deaf people are cut off from often safety-related information
